biography
Elle was born on the North Sea coast of Lincolnshire and taught herself to play the fiddle (and ride horses ~ altho that's another story).
She used to sing mainly folk songs, because that's what she heard growing up; now she sings her own songs too, and also makes sound collages.
Barry Dransfield got her fiddle-singing (when she'd only asked him if he'd glue her violin back together. He did that, as well).
Elle made a record, went around the world for a few years gigging, met some great musicians and lovely people (often the same thing), and is currently making sound collages and writing new songs, which doesn't involve Greyhound buses quite as much, happily.
